Hubby asked me very pointed questions about what I do on the internet. He's not computer savvy.........and the thought of him using a computer is a joke......he wouldn't even know how to open internet explorer.....or google.
But he has a friend in Cda who is amazing on a computer.......and the questions worried me. In fact, I bet he hung up the phone with me and called his friend....asking him to search me. So I had to go private rather abruptly.
I googled myself many different ways....and yes, it does show my blog, but of course....u can't get in. It also shows Moomtaz's blog with the link.
So no proof its me anyways. Sorry for locking so many out.

that's soooooo scary---the idea he might find all that u have written online! Makes me sick to my stomach. I mean even though he deserves every word--and comment--still---he could soooooo use it against u. Soooo glad u went private! Stay safe habibty! Raabinna yehfahzik,,,fi aman illeh.

I would say it was a smart move , your husbands friend would have found you in a minute. Although I almost went into sleepmode (coma) as I was here reading you at the time you locked.
Now it just shows you have an electronic diary. Easy to defend. To that you are entitled to keep and electronic cos you don't want your kids reading your private thoughts as it is too easy to get to a paper one.
Thank you for allowing me to continue following you and your girls. I actually tossed and turned last night too, thinking how much I would think about you, worry and never know what happened.
I will ask my friend who is very computorsavvy if there is any way else you can do to protect yourself in addition to locking.

well you had to. he left you no choice. if he read everything you wrote here all hell would break loose! thats the last thing you need is for him to hold your innermost thoughts against you or even worse for the second wife to be able to read any of it! i know it took me a longggggg time to be able to read the entire blog after i found it (and yes i found it by accident through google. i think i told you i was looking up styles of hijab), so if he did get in, there is no way that he was able to read very much. and a newcomer has to figure out how a blog and the archives work anyway.

Asalaam alaikum Safa. Thanks for inviting me. You know, I think there is a tool you can click on so that the blog cannot be located on any search engine. I can't remember exactly where it is though..if I figure it out, I'll let you know.

wow, I got so nervous for you reading this...As a previous poster said and I'm sure you are aware, but its worth repeating..be VERY wary of accepting new readers. You already have a great group of supportive people and while your blog is such a help I'm sure helps many women...It's so not worth the risk...Hope that made sense...
