Freedom and the car.....

Free as the wind! Hijab blowing out the window.......me and my funky kids driving 80 on the hwy!! LOLOL!!!!!

We spent the day together again......no worrisome voices in my ears.

Just me and my peeps. (that's how my 15 yr old daughter would say it...)

We had lunch outside and I was really expecting that hubby would call. He didn't. When we were in Cairo for the two days...he called and talked to my SIL after I left. And when we got home, there was a message on the answering machine......

"Where are you guys? I called at my brothers an hour and half ago......aren't you guys home yet? It's 10:30 pm. (long pause)........oh well...." Click.

It's been two days since that message. Hmmmmmmmm. And like I just read somewheres......he sounds sad. Or rather, it's probably depressed cuz he has no control again.......oh that must irk him!

About the mercedes........did I tell you guys that my downstairs BIL made himself a set of keys for it? He didn't tell anyone and I only found out accidentally. When I told my husband, he refused to talk to his brother about it. Well, yesterday when I got home.....not even 30 mins later......the car was gone. JEEZ!

And u have no idea what pains I went to for that car yesterday........I got up at 9 am and left with the car and came back an hour later to pick up the kids. They left the building and met me around back.

Let me write a book....."how to avoid conflict!"

I wish I could see the BIL's pissed face when he got downstairs and found the car gone.........and honestly....I was waiting for his phone call. Which didn't happen. Good for him. Oh yeah....and when I came home.....I BACKED THE CAR IN!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Did i ever tell you about that?? The BIL has a fit when I back the car in......and at one time, used to go down and turn the car around......the NUT!

So anyways......now I"m driving the Land Cruiser. Which is great. But my husband put some sort of special license on it, so I can't take it out of my city. Well....I shouldn't even be driving it. No one can drive it but him. If I get caught, the SUV gets taken. But what am I to do? If the BIL would leave my car alone.......sigh. So if I have to go to Cairo, I need the mercedes......

Maybe I should take the mercedes in to a garage and have the locks changed....HAHAHAHA! And then park the Land Cruiser........

But no. I'm good. I've always said when I move to the villa things will change......so we'll see what happens. Let him take over my hubby's stuff........both cars are his anyways.....
