Amber

There's a cute cat in the stairs of my building.....we call her Amber......she's been hanging around for about a couple of years now.

Yesterday in my sadness, I decided to drink a HUGE cup of coffee in my new stainless steel to-go cup. I didn't use the lid, but just sat and sipped warm coffee. For dinner I made fish and I had some fish guts on a plate on the counter waiting until Amber would drop by.

Sure enough....I heard her meow outside the door......I opened it and presented her with my thoughtful surprise.....she ate it all.

Then a little later, I could still hear her meowing outside the door......I had some more fish guts....but I had thrown them in the garbage......but listening to her cry, I decided to go get it out. So as I remove the fish guts from the garbage....I notice something familiar......something black.......

OMG! It's the lid of my brand new stainless steel coffee mug!!! Somehow I must have dropped it off the counter RIGHT into the garbage!!!

And because of my big heart.......because of Amber........I went searching for fish guts and found my lid before I even missed it.......

SubhanAllah! Alhamdulillah!!

Thank you Allah for rewarding me!

even in seemingly insignificant moments you realize that everything happens for a reason. subhanallah. Your story just reminded how Allah is aware of every grain of sand and leaf that falls from a tree. Subhanallah! We don't need dramatic incidents to remind us that Allah is always there because you will be reminded of His presence in our lives even through such experiences as these... Jazakallahu khair for that, Safa. I think it's awesome that through your pain you are able to still see Allah's awesomeness in the mundane, masha Allah.

Asalam Alaikum
Little things like this make your belief in Allah so much stronger doesn't it.

SubhanAllah, I love when things work out that way and it really makes you feel that Allah knows and cares about everything, event the seemingly trivial.

You are so quick to state how great Allah is to you, and how he really cares about everything. I suppose he must have been caring about MM when he hooked her up with your husband too. Why not just call it like it is, dumb luck that you found the lid...

Dumb luck lacks faith. And I do believe that Allah was caring about MM when he hooked her up with my hubby. She's lucky for that for sure.......

Call it like it is? Perhaps ur outlook on life is tainted.......

Just like the rest of us......
