jumma al Yateem.....again

Remember when I told you about Jumma al Yateem? Well, here is another one....the last jumma before Eid. So again....it's the orphan Friday. Just thought I'd remind you all so that it sticks in ur mind. Impress someone today with ur arabic and tell them what today is. LOL! I'll teach it to you step by step!!

I bought a whole bunch of little muffin liners....even the teenie weenie ones......can't wait to have my baking storm.

I bought ready made kahk...sorry guys...no pics this year....but Hubby isn't coming for Eid....so I just don't feel to make it. I'll be baking squares and muffins and petit fours tho. Prolly the day before Eid. We have lots of fun decorating it all up. Last year I made Ginger cookies on popsicle sticks. They were so pretty!

So enjoy ur Jumma al Yateem.....I hope you all started ur Termis last night, (lupini beans) and ur hummus the day before...don't forget. YUM!!!! Oh yeah, when you serve the lupini beans you add a squirt of lemon and some cumin. It's traditional!!!
