U P D A T E
I've been busy with my lawyer. She's been wonderful about how we contact each other. So far it's been phone / email / fax . I haven't had to make the huge drive to Hamilton yet. So its been good. Thank God for technology.
So guess what? Noora is home for a few days. It didn't exactly work out as planned, but its going. My niece (the daughter of my ex's brother)....is spending this weekend with us. She offered to pick up Noora from Hamilton and bring her with her. The plan was.....Noora comes with her and then leaves with her. But the moment that Noora got in the car, that changed. She wants to stay until Tuesday. It's all good.
She looks nice. I like the clothes that she was wearing. Noticed the new purse. She proudly opened her makeup bag and showed us all her "vichy" makeup. Seems that MM has expensive taste and has been spoiling Noora with the same. At one point, Noora mentioned that her father has been teaching her how to drive and said rather loudly that when she turns 16 and gets her learners that he will be buying her a car. LOL. So I asked her, also rather loudly,...Have you gotten your computer yet?
Nope. End of car discussion.

So Noora is on some meds. She told me that she has been having panic attacks regularly at her fathers. He brought her to a DR and she has been prescribed some meds that she takes daily. I think they are antidepressants....but I'll get the name of them and post it here. She also told me that they don't have cable at the house. So that means, no computer, no tv, no phone.....I wonder what the heck she does all day? (and its a 1 bedroom apartment, so she doesn't even have privacy either) Vichy makeup just isn't worth it in my eyes. I'd rather be on a desert island than cooped up in that cell.

Native Status.....did I already tell you all? I spoke with them recently and was told that my file is active and that I should hear back from them in about 2 more months. I'm very excited about this.

Oh yeah.......I've qualified for another karaoke competition. Finals on Sept 24th.

Oh.....forgot to mention. Noora told me that they are having some sort of bug outbreak there at her house. After she described what the problem is....yep....bed bugs.

omg...no wonder she wants to stay in your house!! cant she see the difference in the standard of living??? let's see if she likes it there with no TV and twins to look after...since probably that's what she will have to do...

I agree with Aya, can't she see the difference? Of course, right now, she gets all the attention! Where's the money coming from to buy vichy makeup?

Safa if I was you I would hand her a doll and start teaching her how to handle a baby and wake her up at all times of the night telling her she has to take care of the baby..This girl needs a reality check!!
Hopefully being with her sisters will wake her up..Where is her sisters share of the make up..My father use to pull the shit with my sister playing favorites...I pray that she wake up!! *hugs*

Mmm... I guess they have money for Vichy makeup and new purses but no child support? And they can promise a car but not buy a computer she needs for school (which you can probably get for $200 used off craigslist)?
I surely hope Noora doesn't learn those values from them!
