Connections......

Oh blog that is mine..... I have put more of me into you, than I ever expected or was prepared to share. I have confided to you my deepest secrets, and told you my worst shames. I have shared my good days.....and cried to you of my bad.

Oh blog that is mine..... You have received all my typed words and displayed them in ever shades of purple. You have changed with me. You have been whatever I needed you to be. And you have done this well.

I've made life changing decisions based on what I've written and read here. I've soared high and sunk low.

I found.......me.

The part of me that I thought had died long ago. That flicker of a flame. The essence of me. I found it again while writing in this blog.

Today I'm just thankful of the connections I've made thru you.....oh blog that is mine.

I've spoken to people all over the world..... People who have been sweet.....and others who have not. I've found reason in my comment box......and sometimes just plain crazy.

I'm thankful that I've had somewhere to reach out to when I needed it......

What's new? Well, I have some good news. But give me till Tuesday and then I'll share. Does Tuesday seem forever? Yeah...it does to me too!!

I've finally gotten a family doctor. YAY! And she is part of a family team.....with dietitions, psychologists, social workers....etc etc. All covered by the Ontario Health Plan. This is great! Oh hey....the Dr asked me how often I exercise daily and I said to her...."define exercise..." LOL! Couldn't lie on that one......

My brother heads for camp on Sunday. Sigh. He's gone for 6 weeks. I'm going to make him an amazing dinner tonight before he leaves.

~~~~
We got a slip and sliding water thingy, and tried it out yesterday. My brother slid down so fast that he hit the fence. HAHAHA!!! Fence is okay, brothers ego is bruised. We were laughing WITH him, okay??
~~~~

Surprise...surprise.....will tell u Tuesday!!!!

It's so nice to read such positive things! "How Safa Got Her Groove Back" (and it doesn't involve a trip to Jamaica).

Hey Safa, I know how you feel about how a blog can open you to a whole new set of caring people. I never thought I could have a network of sisters who by e-mails and blog comments give me a lot of motivation and encouragement in different areas, especially in my iman, alhumduhlillah. So far I don't think I have attracted any crazies whatsoever, lol.
