The kids have left the building!!!

Well, the guests are going home tomorrow. I've had the three extra girls for 9 days. It's been a great "girly" time. We've had a few ups and downs around the house.......
I've done my best to keep the ups. Can you imagine, we spent 4 days with them in Cairo and then came home for 2 days, and then they arrived for 9!! LOLOL!!!

(my daughter & her cousin)

It was nice having the girls without their mom tho. There was none of that "entertaining" pressure. It was like....ur family so this is how we do things. LOL!!! Parts of the house are clean and other parts of the house we are still looking for!! I swear we had a bed in the oldest daughter's room, but there is so much junk on it, I'm not sure if it's still under there!!!

So tomorrow, after swimming, I'll be driving the girls home to Cairo. I offered. Their parents wanted them home on Thurs cuz then their uncle would take them. But they'd miss swimming. So I offered to drive them so they could stay a couple of extra days. I mean...HEY....NOBODY misses swimming!! I did some nice cooking stuff for them when they were here......stuff that they've either NOT eaten, or eat occasionally.....I made.... (one of the nieces with my daughter, they're best buddies!)

Pizza (lots of it actually)
Lasagna (with canned mushrooms tho....sigh)
Pigs in a blanket....(HAHA!!)
Basmati curried rice and chicken breast fried with spices...(that was YUM!!)
BBQ Chicken and Kofta.....

Not sure what else....
pigs in blanket u say? Well, here's what I did. In Egypt, the submarine buns are called Fino. If you go to the bakery, you can buy it by the KG. So I use the ready made dough to make pizza, spinach and meat pies, and P I A B.

I just roll the dough out, cut off little rectangles......wrap it around the hot dog and deep fry. It's really good! And the kids love it!! (now if only hot dogs were cheap in Egypt, but they AREN'T!!!)

Anyways....tomorrow I'm taking the crew home....it's been nice......

I've always wanted to do a sleep over for my daughter, she's 6. I just don't know how to I do it, the ages of the girls will range from 3 yr olds to 10 yr olds. From this and your previous posts, masha allah you seem to have the patience and energy to do this. Can you give me any ideas? Also when you had 15 girls in your house did you do it all by yourself, or were there other adults?

When I had the sleepover I was by myself. I didn't think to ask anyone to come help out.

Yucky name is what we call them in Canada, I had no part in the thought process......
