What is YOUR purpose, muslim?

Every Friday night, I watch Sh. Mohammed Hussein Yaqoob on TV. My favourite Salafi sheikh! He explains the deen in a way that makes you think and listen, masha Allah!

So yesterday, he asked that question.....what's ur purpose here? Do you know what it is? What should you be doing here? Have any idea...??? Think about it....

Your purpose on Earth is to get to Jennah! Isn't that all we want from our short time here? To be the best that we can be? So we can go to Jennah? To pray on time so that Allah will grant us.....Jennah?

The Sheikh said that we have to look at the difference between our principles and our situations. We must never sacrifice our principles. NEVER! We have to hold firm and do things in the proper priority. He mentioned prayer. 5 X a day...ON TIME! In the masjid!

And he said.....no man should leave his house to teach the deen....if his own house is lacking in it! That the way to jennah starts at home. Teach ur children...teach ur wife! Allah will ask you about them first! Proper priorities!

And then he started on how a man should respect his wife and hold her dearly in his heart! She takes much responisibility.....she raises ur children......she takes care of you......what does she deserve? Love and respect!

SISTERS! If you are looking for the path to Jennah.....take care of your house! Take care of you husband and your children! They need you before ANYTHING else.....Allah will ask you about them....what will you say?

Always look for the good....put your attention on what needs to have it first. And look for the path to Jennah!

So that's what I'm thinking about today....where is my path to Jennah? Because I want to get on it......and I know you all do, too! Insha Allah....you'll read this....and ask someone you care for.....ask someone that you love....
