AA, Cairo anonymous....yes the meter does show me cairo....and I do know of a few sisters who read me there.....I've actually been speaking to one sister on the phone....so somehow when I see the cairo, I think of it as her, her friends..or me!! LOL...I keep forgetting the internet world is bigger than that! I'm outside of Cairo...but the counter shows me as cairo anyways.
Hey there Suzy! I remember the comment....I think I was seriously going to get into the weight loss....and then BAM! Found out I was pregnant....lol! How's the weather out in Australia right now?
US Blurker! Salaam to you too! Well......that's nice to know you keep dropping by!
And to the person who asked not to be published....I respect that and didn't publish you.....I'd recommend that you'd read some of the other P-closet buddies to get a better perspective on the polygyny circuit......
WOW! I still haven't heard from the Moroccan! COME ON!!! LOLOL!!!

i got the feel from reading your posts that if yur husband truly believed you wre gona leave, he'd get everything straightened out.
Also...i got really freaked over something. How can a really good marriage .. be broken up by a woman making advances at the husband? can that really happen? Was there maybe something in the husband's heart that he didnt have w/ the first time? Was he just attracted by a strange woman wanting him? I couldnt make sense of it and it kinda freaked me out.
Im assuming that it wasnt physical beauty that attracted him cuz hopefuly you kept yourself well kept for him.

Asalaamu alaykum Safa
I am one of your 0ntario readers. Yours is one of the blogs that i read daily - in fact i use your blog to them click to others like Queenie, ORAU,etc, each time clicking back to yours to then select someone else.
You are all my coffee friends, the ones that i chat to (although it is one dimensional i know) while i drink my cups of java. What fascinates me is your honesty, and how your lives are so representative of life's peaks and valleys - in the tough times, there are also times of good, and in the good times, there are also valleys of difficulty.
Nonetheless, you are in our duas. Your kind of honesty is only found in my closest relationships of sisters and sister friends.
Okay, i am now going to click on Queenie, as she is a couple of hours ahead of canada and may have posted already. Then i will click back to you and select someone else.
To all of you, love, salaams, and the prayers that one day in heaven we can all be friends and neighbours and get together for tea (clear glass, 2 spoons for Safa), ( hazelnut coffee for me)

Asalamalikum Safa
I'm the one form Morocco , been out all day and only just read .I read your story everyday cos i feel like i know you and i'm just checking on a "friend " .As you said even sometimes twice a day , thats for two different reasons sometimes when you haven't posted when i check in the morning so i always like to check again in the evening to see if you are ok .The second reason being is ,i read your links to other blogs, most of the time i don't have the time to read the ones i want all in one go so i have a second sitting in the evening ( when all the children are sleeping ).
There has been so many times i have wanted to make comments but didn'tbecause i don't have a blog .
Safa you have shown great patience and inshallah you will be rewarded greatly for it .You've hung in this far , inshallah you've just gotta hang in a little more .I too , like you once said , feel this will all come right for you in the end ,Inshallah that end won't be too long coming for you .
Take care of yourself & the girls .

As Salaamu Alaikum..
I'm a blurker of your blog and a few others...And I have been for a while.I just want you to know that you and your family are in my duas. I do sometimes feel like a weirdo blurking all the doggone time but I never have time to comment. I was debating about starting my own blog but I'm nervous about not having any visitors and being boring.
BTW this blurker is from the US, Pennsylvania to be exact

And don't worry about the moroccan visitors, I'm sure they don't know virtual magic ; )
2:12 AM
salam alaikoum
hey safa, just out of curiosity, do you get hits from geneva or zurich for me? for some reason when i surf from home it says zurich.
5:11 AM
WOW! SubhanAllah!! Well, I can't tell you how much fun I had reading all ur comments this evening! I sat here and cried, then laughed and then cried again.....LOL!
Somehow it makes me feel so comforted to realize that I've got a bunch of hands out there, waiting to catch me.......u know what I mean?
If I haven't listed ur city, it's because I get over 200 visitors a day, and I just skimmed thru them and picked off some of the others. There are so many from the states that I couldn't even begin to type them out.
Just so you all know.....you can get a blogger account without having to open a blog....consider it. From time to time, drop in and let me know that you guys are there......maybe I'll consider leaving the anonymous comments open?
Thanks for coming out everyone......
PM:.....I rooked a bunch of my stuff from over at Muhammad's blog.....he has this thing called, BLOGS THAT LINK HERE....that I'm really thinking of taking.....I was shocked when I typed in my blog and found all these ppl who link me that I've never even seen before.....did u go check out that Japanese blog?
7:08 AM
assalaamalikum safa,
I don't have I co-wife.But I know that this a aspect of islam and that it is the "right"of the husband. So first of all I read the book written by Umm aburahmann.Just to have a inside vieuw of such a marriage and how the sister "handle" it.After a while a got your link from a sister and then I began to read your blog on regular times.wa alikum salaam Dutch-lurker
7:28 AM
jehan---Where in Jordan are you? Just wondering.
Safa see I told you that you are a celebrity...Soon you will be on Oprah-Don't forget your underwear when you get to the set ok?
8:05 AM
Well it wasnt for nothing that you were nominated for the Brass awards. Take a bow sister, you are a virtual celebrity.
You are one of the blogs i read daily while i have my coffee, i also use your blog to click to other blogs (like jamilalighthouse, queenie, etc) - easier than going to google or favourites, thus you may find that i come back to your blog several times, to select other blogs.
One of the things my blog buddies represent for me is that even when life is good, there are valleys of difficulty, and when there are valleys of difficulty there will still be peaks of ease. So, our duas are with you, sister.

I am from Los Angeles, I love your blog...not Arab, nor Muslim, but the theme of lonliness and just wanting to be loved is universal. You are such a good mom, and such a caring wife...I hope that whatever you are looking for comes to you, Inshallah. ;)
4:12 PM
Salaams, Safa,
I'm a blurker from the east coast of the US. I had to laugh while reading the comments....I also use your blog to link to others, and I will leave my browser open to your page all day and all night. You're in my prayers.....reading yours and others' blogs, it just blows my mind how many men are so messed up and how many of us women go to such lengths to keep our families together. Why, why, why? I get so much strength knowing that others are there with the same drama of a life, and if they can get thru it, so can I, inshallah. With such similarities in all the stories, I really believe that it is all the will of Allah, and that I'm not some loser that married the wrong man. This is just my test.
BTW, where IS Vena?? lol
Allah hafiz
5:12 PM
Salaam Safa, I am guilty also of being a blurker lol, I am from the the states and I got hooked on your blog about a month or so ago where I spent about 2 hours reading about your journey so far..I must say you are truly a strong woman, I admire you & you are in my Duas Insh'Allah things will get better for you. Congrats on the pregnancy :)

8:27 PM
yes, we're here to catch you inshaallah. I'm the one from Athens/Winterville, GA.
9:27 PM
Salaams! I don't know if your sitemeter shows me, but I have been passing through lately. I think I discovered your blog a few weeks ago, and its been a fascinating journey that you have taken me on. I don't comment because I usually have nothing to add to the discussion, as I am not a wife, let alone a co-wife. And other times, I get too busy, and my comments are usually kinda lengthy (and useless) :S
May Allah continue to give you strength, and may He give you what is best for you and your family.
Oh, and shukran for dropping me a line on my blog :)
1:30 AM
JazaakAllah everyone for commenting....I'm really at a loss for words....and am so appreciative....

Assalamo-alaikum Safa,
I'm another 'blurker' from Toronto. I wanted to offer a shoulder to listen to you when you came to Toronto last time, but I don't blog, so I couldn't comment. I'm just a student, haven't experienced marriage, don't know about polygamy much. But it's amazing how so many similar feels come up in regards to what we hope from Allah. I'm finding it hard trying to find a good God-fearing spouse and the challenges and the fight to stay strong and on His path is a challenge like so many other challenges in our lives. I do pray that things get better for you and ask anyone who reads this to please make a heartfelt dua for me as well. May Allah accept all your good prayers. I know it may sound naive but I still believe that prayers can change your life and I trust that our Loving God won't let me hurt for much longer. Inshallah ease will come soon for us all. (Sorry I know I turned this into all about me - I'm just going through some hard things at the moment and am desperate for some duas- Sorry!) All the best,
Wassalaam.
4:19 PM
Salam sis safa. Me also feel guilty being a blurker. LOL. I read your blog since a few months ago and find that you are such a good writer in your own way. Humour, sad, happiness all can get from your blog seems like watching drama series. hehe. Well, i'm from Malaysia. Have read it even not everyday but I have put it in my favourite on my browser. :)
Insyallah you can get thru all easily in the end with dua from all of us.
Take care
Nur

I'm another blurker from Ontario, in polygamy and trying to get out.
And good lord, a blurker from Sioux Lookout is in polygamy... I never would have suspected. I thought I was the only Canadian convert to have ended up in such a mess. I guess it's a relief to know that I'm not; misery loves company...
Hope the pregnancy and delivery go well.
8:12 PM
ya...imagine the sioux lookout? Who'd a thunk it? Listen Anonymous....if you happen to come back and check this and feel like u need to talk....send me a comment with ur email...I promise I won't publish it....and I'll get in touch with you. Believe me...the talking surely helps.....and I'd love to get another cdn perspective on this mess.....
10:19 PM
Safa, I owe my life to you. Without you I swear I would never have known who all my blurkers are. Except that Rabat-Sale one I guess we are still waiting on that. Two students from Uni Toronto cool. Even if they can't post on my blog it is good to know that they can post here. It seems that you are the center of the Muslim polygamy universe as you are visited again and again. We all hope that you don't get greedy and frame our sites then people would never have to leave your blog at all.
Safa your prayers are with us and it is so heart-warming to see how much you are loved. Maybe you should chair a non-profit or something you might be able to make some headway with your popularity.
I think that I will blog much more often when I go to Bahrain.
I'm still catching up on the blog rounds I know that I've been out of it for a minute.
Love you Fi ammanillah. May Allah bless you in this life and in the next, and an extra special blessing on your pregnancy.

Thought i would send you another comment, as i check in on you regularly. Tried to send in a comment, but couldnt, so am coming back to this old post to comment here.
Guess what I just had? French vanilla cuppacino from Tim Hortons - dont you just miss it? Or do you make dua with the seeped tea there?
Anyway, wish we could have sent you a box of doughtnuts with hubby. Keep your chin, up girl. You certainly have enough spunk to handle him, and come out smiling.
Duas are with you.
love and hugs, and timbits too
