Stop my brain from thinking.....please......

So I was in Cairo for a few days....the girls had a wonderful time with all their cousins. 3 of my hubby's brothers live in the bldg with yet another brother across the street. That gives my daughters 8 cousins to play with....all girls. The 4 boys are older so they just come and say salaam to us.
My reason for going to Cairo was to see my niece.....she just arrived from Canada and is staying on her own. It's her first time and the family is all over her....not really giving her the independance that she craves. We had a nice time and even went ice skating at Ganayna mall......Sarah fell flat on her backside and almost took me down with her cuz she grabbed my scarf as she was falling. But I managed to stay vertical and yelled at her sorry Be HIND, for trying to take me down, too! (Basically, adding insult to injury)
My inlaws tried to get at me......mentioning a couple of times that they wanted to "talk" to me.....but I managed to avoid them. A couple of comments were made on the sly but I've decided to just let it pass. My hubby called me while I was there and told me to be careful because he does't want anyone to hurt me....I bit my tongue HARD on that one and then just told him, "lets finish this conversation without me getting upset, ok?" So he just finished up with me and hung up. GRRRRRR!! On my mind was the fact that he put me in this position of letting his family hurt me. If only he would have told me what he was doing, I would have had a foot to stand on, no matter how shaky.
I had some good talks with my niece........and I've come to some decisions.....I think I'll post what I've come to another time, because it may be lengthy and I want your comments on it. She is supposed to be coming over today.....
