last shift...

I worked my last shift on Saturday. I've been working for over a year now.....and it was sad saying goodbye. When I was done, I walked into my managers office and shook his hand and thanked him for letting me work with him.

On Thursday of last week, I walked into Food Basics in Barrie. I met the manager, handed him my resume and talked to him about me. He called over the bookeeper and we talked a bit longer. In the end, they told me that they don't have that many hours there right now. So I asked them to still consider hiring me, but only giving me one shift a week until September. My children are home all summer, so one shift a week would be great.

They both seemed interested.

I come with all the experience....ready to work.

We agreed to talk again when I am physically present in Barrie. So yay....I'm looking forward to it!
