getting ready....
Official move date is Monday the 28th. YAY!
We've got most things in order......and I don't think the moving will be too hard. The largest part of our belongings are in the garage and there is just some minimal furniture in the basement. It should be pretty okay.
My good friends have offered to pay for my moving truck....bless them! Because I'm moving so far away, the cost is going to be $238. Its sort of a payback, because when they moved in March, I paid for their truck which ended up costing $197.
I've yet to see the landlord about the water bills......haven't run into him....but I'm prepared to ask him for all the bills, so that I can see where my previous payment of $300 total has been applied.
He's also bothering me to fix the steel garage door....(the one into the house, not the garage door itself) My mom had a hissy fit in the garage once and banged the crap outta the door with her cane. It's all dented and bumped from that. I sent her a message about replacing the door or fixing it......the response was ugly. So it looks like I'll just try to repair it myself.....with auto body filler....smooth it on.....spray it with primer and then spray it after with a colour. I should be doing that tomorrow.
There is still some damage with one of the ceiling fans that we broke....(Sjon raised his hands and the low fan blade caught him on the wrist and the blade went flying.....Sjon was fine, but his wrist was bruised) What I'm thinking is that I'll pay for a replacement fan, and fix the door myself. And if the landlord asks me for anything else.....I'm outta here anyways......
I'm pretty upset about the water bill......

So in other news.....my car started making a muffler funny sound.....went to Canadian Tire and had to sit there for 3 hours while they figured out what was wrong with my car. Turns out that it isn't the muffler....but something closer to the front of the car. Cdn tire wants $2000 to fix it.
And you know when you get really fed up? When you think to yourself.....can't I ever just get ahead? Does something always have to come up that takes away any spare money I have? At the moment, my landlord wants $1000 for the water bill, plus I have to fix the door and the fan....and then my car is going to be another $2000? Not to mention that I still have to move? I don't even have a comfort zone right now! Ya Allah!
So then I talked to a few people here and there.....and went to a different garage owned by arabs. I went there and was treated decently and given an honest solution........and then, they sent me over to another garage to get the job done. In the end, I paid $79 and had my car all patched up. I sat in the garage maybe all of 25 minutes.....I drove away happy!!

I still don't understand why you have to pay and do all those repairs yourself, what about your boyfriend???why isn't he taking care of such things, why wasn't he driving the big moving truck when you almost when off the road???
