Patience, my dear....
Yesterday was a nice day. I took the kids out for the entire day. We had an adventure. We went to Carrefours, and then drove around on our way back. We stopped into a couple of new cities, just to look around. We laughed while I was driving. And then instead of coming home, we went to the club.
I tried to call my one friend while I was there.....she usually goes to the club every night, so I thought it would be nice to sit with her. Her phone wasn't working. Sigh.
And then, the hubby called. My oldest was carrying the phone, and was sitting with her friends....she walked back over to me.... I was sitting with the 12 yr old....hubby talked to her. And then a BIG SURPRISE.....he asked to talk to me.
Nothing good. Or rather...Alhamdulillah that he talked to me.....but we didn't accomplish anything.
He did tell me that the Sheikh that I emailed, called him. Alhamdulillah.
~~~
I finished with him on the phone, and immediately had thoughts of leaving the club. I started looking for the kids, and guess what? I found my friend. Sitting all by herself.....I walked over and sat down with her. She has no idea of what is going on with me....I've never told her. So I sat there and we had comfortable conversation, and a couple of laughs. It felt good.
I'm waiting for the email from the Sheikh now. It's making me nervous cuz I keep checking my email.
Asalamalaykom Swimming Safa,
Keep remembering: it's patience in ALLAH not in your husband. Patience which shows how your faith in The Almighty is deep and abiding.
KISSES!
