News....or lack thereof

I've been hanging out at the Sobia Forums....having fun over there. It's really in it's early stages and needs some life.....seems like no one is really posting new threads and stuff....but it's picking up. Go over and take a look around...but BEWARE! So do you want to hear my latest SIL incident? HUH? Yesterday she calls me and tells me that she made me a pot of mehshi....YUM! And she wants one of my girls to go down to get it....(she's got 3 kids in her house...I have no idea why she couldn't send it up!) Oh...and she's just so busy tomorrow...got so much housework to do.....could she possibly take my maid for the day? Puhlease? (I can SO hear Ben Stiller saying this!!) And do you think I said no? Do you? AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I was OBLIGATED! She made me the darn mehshi! Son of a nutcracker!!! No comments on this one please!!!!!!!!

I am going to attack my kitchen. I am. I am. I am. (insha Allah, I am.) I bought all new spice containers for my spice cupboard...cheap imitation tupperware that are stacking...I bought 15 of them small...and then 6 medium. So it's getting me excited to clean my cupboard. But what is a clean cupboard without a clean kitchen you ask? Nothing. I HAVE TO CLEAN THE KITCHEN! And I will. Okay? So there.

Tomorrow is the farmer's market! WOOHOO! If said kitchen is clean...I am so gonna buy some groceries.....oh ya!!!! I want all the green stuff....I'm so craving spinach and green beans and fresh peas. I want to buy 3 HUGE cabbages and make coleslaw and cabbage soup and more mehshi. Yup. Wouldn't that be great??

LATER: I didn't get the kitchen 100%...but definately did some damage....went to the farmer's market with my cannibal...what a nice time we had together....and with so much food around..I wasn't worried that she'd have to eat me. I only bought 2 cabbages.....I did a great job on my spice cupboard....OMG....it looks so good......maybe I'll take a pic? If I could find my bluetooth thingy....I'll look around for it.

I meant to tell you guys about when I went to City Stars Mall with my 14 yr old. We parked in the underground parking....OMG....it's unreal....they walk around ur car with a mirror on a stick, looking for bombs...make you open ur trunk before you can even take ur darn ticket to go underground. And then when you start walking towards the elevator...u have to go thru a metal detector and they do the wand thingy too. WTH? Give me ONE mall in Canada that does that? Any malls? I'm surprised at the level of security there. We went into Virgin Records there....it SUCKS! No discount bins...hardly any tapes...all CD's...and some horrendously priced books. Bad selection on music too. I'll be going back there on Tues with the cannibal. That promises to be fun. Her and I have a good time together.....after I live thru the first 1/2 hour of her complaining she usually gets around to dreaming....LOL! I love listening to how the world looks thru her eyes. She has such a brightness of Eman in her...masha Allah. (except when it comes to the possibility extreme hunger!) So that's on Tues. Oh yeah....and I'm thinking of bringing the 3 yr old back to daycare. What do you guys think? Wouldn't that be great? She loves it there...and learns...and memorizes Quran. So insha Allah....I'll prolly start her back on Sunday.
