surgery went well...

Alhamdulillah.....Abdu is fine. The surgery went longer than I anticipated. He was a real trooper.

It really pulls at a mother's heart being in the recovery room with your sleepy child on your lap. Interesting thing happened with the nurse....she asked me if the baby was egyptian and then proceeded to tell me a story about her friend who got duped by an egyptian man after 8 yrs of marriage and 2 children. Same ole same ole, if you know what I mean. Sigh.
