The EX was supposed to pick up the 15 yr old on Thursday afternoon. From what I understood, (because he doesn't talk to me)....he was going to take all the kids out and then go home with the 15 yr old. But as I was giving my 7 yr old a bath, she tells me to pack her clothes for a few days, because her Baba said he was taking them to his house. Hmmmm....confusing.

So I pick up the phone and call the Ex. He answers....and then I ask him about it. Amazingly, he speaks normally and sounds rather friendly. He says he'll come back Friday night for the kids for the weekend. So then I tell him that would be murder because weekend traffic to Barrie is like a huge parking lot on the 400. (omg....we are talking) So he decides to take all the kids when he gets to my house......a much better plan.

It was so easy picking up the phone and talking to him about the kids.....and he seemed so agreeable. Why can't he do that all the time? I wish he'd call me when he had a plan or a change in them. It would be so much easier for everyone.

But does it really matter anyways? At the most, he'll be in Canada another week and then he'll be flying away again. I wonder if he'll say Bye to the kids this time? I think I'll make a point of telling him that he has to, considering he's taking my daughter with him.

So much jumbling going around in my brain at the moment. Sigh.
