Sent MM a text message.....
I got to thinking today...I never wished MM Ramadan Kareem. I've said it to strangers, to cyber buddies, to family, to just about everyone. But not her. So I sent her this text message in Arabic...
"Every year and hope you are well. Ramadan Kareem. May Allah accept it. From Safa"
I don't think anything can be misconstrued from that, do you? Hubby called late tonight, so I told him that I sent the text and told him what I said. Just so there aren't any difficulties.
Wouldn't it be something if she actually answered me back? HA!

So...is that you laughing at the end, or summoning me? HA/Honorary Arab? Maybe it's you praising me for giving you the idea.
The part I did that you didn't...I checked with the hubster first, before sending it. Only did it once he gave it the gold seal of approval. Also, this way he knows what I've done so if she complains, or if she doesn't do a thing...he'll know. Elhumdullah, Allah knows everything. :)

it was both....a laughter and related to you......I liked that u sent ur co wife the message and felt that I was lacking cuz I didnt do the same. I didn't think to check with the hubster first...but look at this.....after I hit send on the message, he called like 2 mins later....go figure. In fact, I thought he was sitting with her when she got it and he was calling me immediately. SubhanAllah. But nawwww...he was at work.
